About Melanie

It’s time we met.

I’m Melanie Garner, Founder and Prinicpal Designer at Milton Design Studio. Over the past 7 years I’ve been invited to design both primary and secondary homes for outstanding clients, and I love creating spaces that make their lives better. It sounds so simple, but there it is. Beautiful design is thoughtful and smart, and it doesn’t happen by accident: it’s the result of weaving together a thousand specific, deliberate details. Building a relationship of trust is critical, and I’m proud to say my client roster is almost entirely word-of-mouth referrals and repeat clients.

Collaborating with you is the first step toward developing your bespoke design. At Milton Design Studio my established process is elevated and simple: each detail is managed from start to finish and exceptional communication is key. I work closely with my network of experienced vendor partners and skilled trades and deliver luxuriously livable spaces grounded in functionality for you and the people you love most.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and more than a decade of experience as a Director of Marketing, I bring an arsenal of business and management skills to blend with my appreciation of both beauty and function.
